We're so excited to photograph and collect the stories of 100 different women and want to thank you for taking part in our special project!
Here are all the details you will need:
We'll start with a quick drink and chat at our small home studio. You can find us at 8 Dexter Way, Winnersh, RG41 5GR - we’re the corner house facing on to Angus Close and there is a separate entrance to the studio at the back gate (look out for a sign for The Headshot Studio and just ring the doorbell there). You can park up alongside the brick wall on the driveway.
The images will be captured at our small home studio.
What to Wear:
Please bring 1 or 2 of your most favourite outfits, one that really represents your style at your best that you would wear on a special occasion and maybe one on a more casual day. We're looking forward to seeing lots of different styles coming through in these shoots.
If you have any vintage or otherwise interesting styled props/ textiles/ mats/ rugs/ jewellery that you think would add something to your session, please do bring them along too.
Hair & Make Up:
We encourage you to do your own hair and make up for these shoots as we don't want to inadvertently capture the same 'glam' look on 100 different faces. There are so many versions of glamorous and we'd love to see yours if you're comfortable in doing it (these shoots are all about celebrating your authentic selves and we don't want you to feel like it doesn't look like you in the photos!).
If you're not confident with doing your own, we can recommend some local hair and make up artists, the charge is usually around £80 - £100 and this goes straight to them.
What's included and will it cost anything?
You will get the photoshoot experience and one beautiful edited high-resolution digital image free as a thank you for taking part. Of course, if you would like to buy any additional images then you are welcome to at a discounted rate of £35 each.
If you do, this just helps us to go bigger and better and reinvest into making this a great project for everyone involved but there is never any pressure or expectation for you to do so.
What will we do with the photos?
This is an evolving project and it's exciting to see how things progress. Ultimately, I would love to make this into a book, or an exhibition of all of the best images and stories and just ask that you are happy to sign a model release form so that we can use the images in this way.
Anything else I need to know?
We will also be filming a short interview with you to find out about your personal story as well as your journey to this point with style and beauty and what truly drew you to taking part in this project with us. Don't worry, it's just an informal chat and it's not scary at all :)
